In 2025, Loyola University Chicago welcomed alumni, donors, and friends back to campus for the annual Founders’ Dinner, a cherished tradition that celebrated the extraordinary achievements of Loyola graduates while reaffirming the university’s mission to serve students and communities. With more than 800 guests gathered, the evening began with a lively cocktail reception in the university gymnasium before moving into a beautifully arranged ballroom for dinner, performances, and dancing—an atmosphere filled with gratitude, connection, and Rambler pride.

At the heart of the celebration were the alumni whose lives and careers reflected the values Loyola instilled in them. Honorees were recognized not only for professional success but for their dedication to leadership, service, and justice—values rooted in the university’s Jesuit tradition. Their stories reminded everyone in the room that a Loyola education does more than prepare graduates for careers; it inspires them to use their talents in ways that strengthen communities and uplift others.

Yet the true impact of the evening extended far beyond the celebration itself. Funds raised during the Founders’ Dinner helped open doors for students—supporting scholarships, academic programs, and opportunities that allow young people to pursue an education that might otherwise feel out of reach. Every gift made that night represented a student who would gain access to mentorship, research experiences, and a community committed to helping them grow into thoughtful leaders.
